Manifesto The Movie!

Out now is a film adaptation of the underground book "Manifesto: An Anonymous Novel" titled "In the Pages of Books" by Fei Ge (Mark). The film is a narrative exploration of the book with footage of the actual author reading from the book, and dancing naked amongst other things. It was shot in 2001 and is set entirely in Western MA. $12 paypal, includes shipping!

Periscope Magazine is Publishing An Excerpt of "Indian Poem"!

i'm so mad. today i was supposed to do qi gong and go to this show but the guy never called me back about going and i ended up not going to qi gong because i thought i was going to the show. i am definitely out of shape and have paid for the class so i should take it way more seriously but i don't but i know that should and am going to from now on.

shit i have work tomorrow, and i could've worked in new heaven and gotten more hours but i don't have a fucking car. i have to rely on ryan! and service net transportation shiiiit
i wonder how it will go because last time they complained and didn't give me an assignment for a year!

qi gong

i did qi gong today! it was awesome, and before that I had acupuncture and I got invited to a spa party by this lesbian chick! i feel a lot better, idk, the qi in my legs feels different, and i have curbed my appetite and crave healthier foods. i'm going to try and catch up to the qi gong class, i already missed one, but there's so many moves that the teacher performed today and i only got to lean one. it was my very first time doing qi gong and honestly i feel way more relaxed and it seems cool because everyone else on the streets seemed so up tight and i'm just like chillllll....

well teacher said the most ideal time to do qi gong is two hours before sun rise so i'm going to try and do that. also i bought a dvd of teacher's moves so that should be cool to check out. i can't wait until i learn other moves, i only learned one, but it rules so hard. ok later peace out

so i am going to record my dreams on this blog from now on feel free to interpret

i remember before waking up i was in a small town in massachusetts, unsure which one, but in this dream i had a car and was taking a day trip out of boredom. i realized that i had three checks on me, one from service net, and two others from random people, but they weren't payroll checks, and i was broke, so i stopped in a cvs where they had a cash checking service and i asked them if they could cash payroll checks as i gave them my service net rep payee check. there were around 4 or 5 black ladies working there. after handing them my food stamps id and after they went behind the curtain i waited there and was really hungry. when they finally came out they said they couldn't cash it but they had dropped a small blue wallet on the ground and when they left i picked it up. in the dream too i was kind of crippled walking around to the diner as i was famished by this point. i tried to order something but people kept getting in my way and i wasn't sure if the food behind the glass racks were for the waiters to bring out or if it was for the customers to take. so i ended up in a dunkin donuts type place and this Latina girl took my order of a bagel and cream cheese, in which her reaction was something like, "YO WHADDUP?!" as she made a gang sign. I gave her the cash but she said she couldn't take it, and I wondered if the bills were marked.

Lastly I wondered into a diner and ordered a muffin and tried to pay there but they wouldn't accept my cash there either.

That was the extent of my dream. Oh yeah and in the diner I happened to bump into one of my mothers big fat but nice co workers who was chowing down on some grub. I asked her what town we were in but she didn't know either.

I have not been doing well recently. I haven't been able to get myself to leave the house. Today, especially being so hot outside at the end of October even. I overslept and missed my psychiatrist's appointment. I dunno, there's just no motivation to go to it other than to jump through the hoops to get the prescription. But I mean I'd rather have a psychiatrist who actually works with me and tweaks my meds once in awhile. Obviously they haven't been working, because I've been a shut in for so long. I have lots of anxiety and am depressed a lot. It's ridiculous to think that I've been on the same meds for so long. It's always a quick exchange of politeness between my current psychiatrist and I and then it's off I go with scripts in my hand or they are called in for me, and then I have to do deal with some bitch behind the counter for my meds. I can't stand that anymore. I want some change of scenery, I don't like this town anymore.

I used to go to a lot of concerts and enjoyed them immensely now I hardly go to any. I sit at home, that is all I do. Sure I might have some work to do, but it's like where do I go? I'm not a college student anymore so it's not like it would be that appropriate of me to sit in a college library, though it would be nice once in awhile. I think what I need to do is to find places that I can go to during the day, places that make me feel comfortable. The thing is I don't think that place exists outside of maybe downstairs part of the library at umass that i can't access the computers to. although maybe hampshire college...

Because they are just so fun. Unbelievable time I had last night. My friend Warren came up from Connecticut and took Ken and I out to Springfield a place I had in my mind as this horrible rotten place on the face of God's green earth, but the city was actually quite beautiful. The club was a little ways away from the main strip but still I got to see what a real city is like (northampton being kind of like a large town).

Here is us on the drive there:

during the drive there we had to listen to radio but "the end of the world as we know it" came on and we blasted it and smoked a bowl or two. Ken lit up a cigarette right when we got on the highway and I kept on bumming from him all night.

When we got to the club there were already pole dancers in place. I thought about New York a lot and how you can go to any sort of event that's particular to your tastes, and the thought of just having a strip bar, not just a strip bar, but a GAY strip bar in the valley tickled my fancy somewhat.

Needless to say I started to drink, screwdrivers, rum and cokes, beer, and we made friends right off the bat with one of the dancers. I got jipped though, he took me to the private area and gave me a lap dance and then made me pay him $20 for the private dance. Man did I feel cheated. I had a ten on me and I gave that to him then asked Ken for a twenty which he huffed and puffed but begrudgingly gave it to me. Asking the stripper for the $10 back was sort of an embarrassment though.

Later on, I met this really cute stripper named Ricardo and we talked for a very brief brief moment about Brazillian music because he is from Brazil. I gave him my business card and told him to email me as my phone number on it doesn't work anymore. He said he would but hasn't yet, which is pretty typical. I kind of wish there was some way to get a hold of him, just to talk to him again, to make sure that we made that special connection like I thought we did. Brazilian guys are really hot, and this one in particular was no exception. I liked him right off the bat when we first pulled into the club but my friend Warren was like, "Hey check out the pizza guy on the pole," which was dubiously funny but I knew that I had to meet him.

Anyway, I wasn't the only Asian person there, there was another older Japanese looking fellow who sort of just sat there in the corner waiting for God knows what, kind of like this chubbier white guy that I thought was cute too. The pace was fast, people kept on hitting on me! While the dancers were at least, and not all of them were after my money, I could sense that they really wanted to get to know me and my friends.

Warren was so drunk last night. We cuddled on my bed all night and tried to have sex a couple of times but I couldn't get it up and he was basically hard all night which made me feel kind of bad. I wasn't sure what to do because when I was blowing him he kept on putting his hand to his dick and slapping me on the mouth with his cock making it hard for me to suck him off. oh well.

today we got up and had mcdonalds and then just hung out while he wrote an article. I talked with my editor in chief about the zine i'm editing and now my mom is coming over with some groceries, god bless her, but really i'm 27 years old I know what I can and would like to put in my body no matter how "Unhealthy" it is for me. That is why I like drinking and smoking pot with my friends.
